We provide a collective voice for advocacy and education of human service needs in Mesa County.

Interested in becoming a member of the Human Services Council?  Our dues are structured to fit any budget, and we provide many services for our members.

 

  • Participation in the HSC listserv to receive regular updates on:
        Statewide legislative issues of importance to human service agencies
        Local training opportunities
        Local non-profit activities and events
  • Access to scholarships for seminars and workshops;

  • Your public events can be included in our on line master Events Calendar;
  • Access to an on-line service that converts documents to pdf files;

Membership Guidelines:

 

Membership in the Human Service Council of Mesa County runs from January 1 through
December 31. 

Agency:  Agencies or service providers who represent the human service profession. Annual agency dues are $35.00 per year for up to three individuals per organization; for more than three representatives, an agency must pay an additional $25/yr.
 

Individual: Any self-employed human services professional (i.e., counselor), or any Mesa County resident with an interest in human services.  Annual individual dues are $35 per year.

 

Student: Any individual who is currently enrolled in six or more semester hours at an accredited college.  Annual student dues are $10 per year.
